I overheard a few conversations about having too many eggs after EASTER. By the way I hope you celebrated our Saviors resurrection.
So ennaway, I heard excuses like "But they were on sale!" I believe egg sandwiches are being fed ah plenty this week. lol.
My Grandbaby turned 7 the day before Easter and I was invited to her party. I had fun. I enjoyed watching her open presents and after she gave everyone a hug and thanked them. I then had early breakfast with her and Mom at their church on Easter. Yes I was up early ( on auto pilot) and made it on time!
Later I went to my church and it was enlightening.
Now last week was spent at the camper by the lake. I fished and my first fish was a HUGE
crappie! Bout 13 inches long!! Hot diggity! Relaxing there as always and any stress melts away.
The weather has been up in temp then way down. Rain then foggy. I am going fishing in the morning. I have worms to use and a freezer to fill! Couple weeks ago the salmon started upstream to lay their eggs. By now they must have turned black in color which is not good eating.
I bought me a fishing pontoon! Not a party kind, which has seats all around. It has one bench in back by motor and up front a swivel fisher-woman seat. It was just what I was looking for. The trailer a scissor type to go under and lift up boat. The motor a 4 stroke 25 horse Mercury. So no mixing gas an oil!! I bought it from a private party used. No rust everything works. It's a 19 footer. Ah and a trolling motor too. I need four bumpers to protect from dock dings. I told Jon I'd stuff foam in BIG bras from 2nd hand store and hook them together around the boat. You know, booby bumpers! LOL!
He said he'd never go on the boat if I do that. I said awe heck I could see you testing the bumpers by squeez'in the boobie bumpers to be sure they are good to go hahaa.
So Jon buys the neighbors atv he brought back from his cabin up north. Another toy!!
Oh my it's late and I am going fishing in the morning.
So nite all!!
Count your blessings every morning.
My grandbaby and her Mom. Love them so much!
